It depends on your school: crab, lobster and molluscs is haram in the Hanafi school and halal in the Maliki, Shafi'i and Hanbali schools. The Shafi'i, Maliki and Hanbali schools take 'the game of the sea is lawful for you' (Qur'an 5:96) to cover creatures that live only in the sea (land crabs, for example, are excluded).
